This is
the January 1932 issue of The American Penman monthly
penmanship magazine (*formerly The Western Penman).
The American Penman was published by the Austin Norman
( A. N. ) Palmer Company in New York. Begun in 1884 it was circulated
during the golden age of American penmanship and some of the
finest penmen were regular contributors. The magazine was devoted
to Penmanship and other fields of Business Education.
*The magazine The Western Penman by A.N. Palmer, Cedar
Rapids, Iowa was introduced in 1884. In 1906, the magazine's
name was changed to The American Penman, continuing in
