Pelikan 1000 review
Topic: Pens, Pencils
Pelikan M-1000 Fountain Pen Review -- "Let me get this out of the way quickly. There is no justification for a $300 pen. Daiquiri for 6 persons -- Original Daiquiri recipe by Jennings S. Cox. "After the Spanish-American War, an American mining engineer was inspired to new heights of refreshment due to the hot Caribbean sun. Jennings S. Cox led a team of American engineers in a mining operation near the little town of Daiquir¿ (pronounced dye-kee-ree). Workdays under the blazing Caribbean sun were hot and sweaty. Comforts were few. To keep the men motivated in this trying environment, management gave them high salaries, free housing, free cigars, and perhaps the best reward of all, a monthly gallon of Cuba's finest rum, BACARDI..."
