TexAvery.com is a tribute to the genius of cartoonist Tex Avery. He is the creator of such characters as The Wolf, Droopy, and Screwy Squirrel. His cartoon style of slapstick gags and hilarious situations are still being imitated today, over forty years after they were created. (via Cartoon Brew)

Brause was founded in 1850 in Iserlohn, Germany, and initially specialised in manufacturing needles. It rapidly developed into a modern company, namely through a steam engine acquired in 1866. The Brause-GmbH web site has been up for a while (in German). Now they have launched a calligraphy site in English, French and German at www.brause-kalligraphie.com.
