The Original 50 Dilbert Strips
Topic: Comics
The Dawn of Dilbert Scott Adams mailed fifty Dilbert strips to the major cartoon syndicates in 1988. Reactions were mixed. Read the first 50 strips and the rejection letters on the official Dilbert website Dilbert.com

"The first Dilbert strip was published in April of 1989. Now it runs in over 2000 papers."

ACU-ARC Adjustable Ruler
Topic: Drawing instruments
I thought this was an old 1970:s ruler when I saw it on the Swedish auction site tradera.com but they are still being manufactured by Hoyle Products Inc. in Southern California; "The ACU-ARC Adjustable Ruler takes over where the ordinary compass leaves off, eliminating the need for numerous beam compasses, and assorted railroad and highway curves. It is made of a rugged new plastic material that will not break with normal use."
